Jackson Hole was great!

Last week, we met up with a group from Billings and traveled together to Jackson, Wyoming for a youth retreat. This is a photo of the 2 groups--my 2 kids are on the right end, and Eric, our exchange student is right in the middle. We hiked in the Tetons, white water rafted on the Snake river, shopped in Jackson, went swimming, and spent a day in Yellowstone. We were lucky enough to see a sow grizzly with her cub (with binoculars) and another grizzly about 75 yards off the road. We had the opportunity to watch him for awhile--sleeping, waking up, rolling over, scratching on a tree, walking around and eating. It was a good trip! Ok, now on to some stamping....This clipboard is adorable! My daughter put it together for a birthday gift for one of her friends. She used the summer picnic designer paper from the Occasions mini catalog, along with the striped grosgrain ribbon. The flower at the top is from the die-cut blooms, so it is textured card stock. She looked up a quote on-line, and added that with the hodgepodge hardware clip. Her friend got a new camera, so my daughter is giving her this clipboard for photos, along with a gift card for photo developing. Perfect! I love having some 3-D things on hand, to use for quick gifts. It is so easy to then personalize it with colors or patterns for the individual person.
