Two-Step Stamping

This stamp set was given to a friend of mine, a loooong time ago. She doesn't stamp, so when she met me, she gave me the stamp set. It is a 2-step set, like A Rose is a Rose, or Flower Fancy. So I finally trimmed the rubber and put it together, and gave it a try! I used so saffron on the bottom layer, then crushed curry for the darker top layer; pale plum and rich razzleberry; mellow moss and always artichoke. The card stock is rich razzleberry and pale plum, with designer paper from razzleberry lemonade. This particular piece of paper has a curry touch to it, so it goes great with the yellow and purple color scheme. ++
A stamp-a-ma-jig (pg 191, $11.95) is really helpful with a stamp set like this one, so you can get your top accent layer where you want it! Happy Monday everyone--
