Using up Retiring Colors
I think this little project shows the versatility of the Vintage Vogue stamp set from the Occasions Mini catalog. It's still available to purchase for another week and a half! (page 26, $23.95 in wood mount). As you can see here, I used really bright colors and didn't go for the "vintage" look at all.
I made these tags to attach to small loaves of zuchinni bread for my husband to take when he visits our church "shut-ins". I used tempting turquoise (not retiring), yoyo yellow, only orange, and pink passion. I cut the butterflies out in the same colors with the Beautiful Wings embosslit die (pg 24 occasions mini, $11.95). The half circles were made with the 1" and 1 1/4" circle punches. Very easy, very cheery!
